San Francisco’s award-winning international in-house team consists of top communications and PR professionals. We work in a variety of languages to help companies and brands get covered by the media while creating effective PR and communication strategies. Our work drives business growth and proactively generates national and international media coverage.

Now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our team based in Helsinki, Finland. You can be based anywhere, as long as you can work in the Nordic time zone – and we would love to see you in person every now and then!

You get to:

• Help our clients tell their newsworthy stories mainly to the Finnish media.

• Work with both innovative Finnish companies and multicultural global companies that want us to execute their PR on the highest level of expertise.

• Write content that dives deep into current hot topics, our clients’ industries and tech applications, often explaining complex concepts in a simple and clear way. This could be in the form of press releases or editorial-level opinion and thought leadership articles.

• Work with your colleagues in a supportive role with a clear path to become a senior PR consultant with individual client responsibilities.

• Engage with clients to create effective PR and communications strategies, as well as help them in cases of crisis communications or other urgent communications needs with your senior colleagues.

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and media.

• Work together with the whole team to attract the best clients and talent.

• Our agency has transparent salary ranges. For this position, the base salary is 2800-3700 euros a month, based on your work experience. On top of your base salary, everyone gets a team bonus plus a personal sales commission.

What we are looking for:

• You are expected to produce flawless content in Finnish for our clients and check the work of others. You have know-how of the Finnish media landscape. 

• You have working experience in PR and communications.

• You are open and honest with your team members and clients, and you love to work as part of a team.

• Working proficiency in English as English is our official internal language. 

• You have great organizational skills and can balance multiple client cases simultaneously.

Nice to have:

• Studies from a university (a Master’s degree is a plus) – but more importantly, you’re hungry to learn more all the time.

• Good written and oral skills in other languages in addition to English – preferably in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, or French.

• A practical understanding of social media and the ability to write marketing messages for San Francisco Agency that resonate with our audience.
